He was predeceased by: his father William S. "Buddy" McCoy; and his children, Veronica Lynn and Paul Lee McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Jackie McCoy; his mother June L. McCoy; his mother-in-law Ruth Johnston; his son Charlton Lee McCoy; his stepson Ross Blount (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Brody and Hunter Blount; his siblings, Vanessa (Kenneth McCoy), Rebecca (Mark Matusevich) and Leon; his sister-in-law Betsy McCoy; his uncle John Lilly (Anita); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Linkous, Oakley and Cristy Johnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Centennial Christian Church (6266 Centennial Rd, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
