It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Frances Jones Surface (Christiansburg, Virginia), who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Showalter and Cora Brumfield Jones; and her husband Shirley T. Surface. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Surface Sheppard, Jerry Surface and Keven Surface; and her siblings, Marvin Jones and Darlene Simmons. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
