With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonore Gilson of Chincoteague, Virginia, who passed away on July 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Leonore is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leonore's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Diament and Mae Diament; and her husband Charles R Gilson. She is survived by: her children, Charles David Gilson (Diane) and Deane Gilson Fetscher (James). She is also survived by her 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
