He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elisha Umphlett and Agnes Umphlett (Lewis); and his daughter Myra Umphlett. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hagler Umphlett; his son Robert Umphlett Jr. (Angie); his grandchildren, Elaina Midgett (Kyle) and Joel Umphlett; his great grandchild Wyatt Midgett; his sisters, Audry Justice and Joyce Reed; and his brother-in-law Tommy Hagler (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
