He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sharkey and Lilly Sharkey. He is survived by: his children, Johnnie Robert Sharkey (Jess) of Chincoteague Island, VA, Jason Sharkey (Melissa) of Hagerstown, MD and Rhonda Sharkey of Rehobeth, DE; his grandchildren, Tobie, Jamie, Kayla, Nichole, Ryan, Shelby, Autumn, Joshua, Madison, Ethan, Isaiah, Lucas and Jaelyn; his great grandchild Peyton; his sister Sharon Staggs of Romney, WV; his niece Lisa; and his nephews, Robert, Jerry and Chris. He is also survived by several cousins and great nephews and great nieces.
