He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Merritt and Dot Merritt; his wife Nancy Moran; and his son Jimmy "Dean" Moran. He is survived by: his children, John Moran (Linda) and Eddie Sigmund (Elaine). He is also survived by seven grandkids.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salyer Funeral Home (6327 Church St, Chincoteague, VA 23336). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church (6253 Church St, Chincoteague, VA 23336).
