He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Blevins and Gertie Blevins; and his brothers, Albert Blevins, Smith Blevins, Baker Blevins, Willard Blevins, Millard Blevins and Ralph Blevins.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Jeannette Lynn Blevins of Chilhowie, Randy Lee Blevins (Barbara) of Clemmons, NC and Wade H. Blevins, Jr.; his wife Tammy Blevins of Chilhowie; his grandchildren, Rodney Blevins, Wendy Griffin, Whitney Blevins, Amber Blevins, Emily Blevins, Eli Blevins, Lily Blevins and Sarah Blevins; his great grandchild Riley Wade Griffin; his sisters, Jean Bonham, Thelma Poe and Louise Leslie (Marvin); and also Samuel Eli Blevins (Audrey) of Chilhowie. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians & Jews.
