He was predeceased by: his father Robert Johnson; his daughter Sherry Lynn Johnson; his brothers, Maurice and David Johnson; his parents-in-law, Ed and Laura Mason; and his son-in-law Brian DeBord.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Mason Johnson; his children, Stanley Johnson of Chilhowie, Robert Johnson of Chilhowie, Teresa Barker (Mark), Sandy Eller (Joe) and Melissa "Missy" DeBord; his grandchildren, Markie Barker (Amber), Ben Barker (Mitch), Amanda McClure (Charles), Laura Terry (Everette), B. J. Kinder, Ethan Johnson and Kiana Buskill; his great grandchildren, Mattison, Hensley McClure, Rebecca of Stella, C. W., E. J. Terry, Ava Poe, Isabella "Bella" Johnson and Baby Johnson; and his pets, Rocky and Daisey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
