He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Combs and Annie Hall Combs; and his siblings, Lola Cassell, Annie Musser, Florence Shumate, Eveline Combs, Alfred Combs, Oscar Combs, Thomas Combs and Coy Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra McMillan Combs; his children, Paul S. Combs (Cindy) of Marion, David Mark Combs of Rural Retreat and Andrea Combs of Marion; his grandchildren, Daniel Combs (Pam), Sandra Spencer, Hannah Combs and Isaac Combs; his sister Vernia Richardson; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Finley, Rex McMillan (Penny) and Marvin Holmes. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
