She was predeceased by: her husband Ronnie "Papa" Byrd; her mother Mary Hager; and her siblings, Robert, James, George, Jack Hager, Mary Breedlove and Irene Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Murphy (Billy) of Dublin, Matt Byrd (Julie) of Abingdon and Jason Byrd of Marion; her sister Dovie Vencill of Bel Aire, MD.; her granddaughter Alicia Shoemaker; her great grandchildren, Talen Hammack and Lucas Roller; her niece Jamie Pike; her great-nephew Joshua; and her close friend Debby Gilliey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver Brown Funeral Service & Crematory (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens (7764 W Lee Hwy, Rural Retreat, VA 24368).
