She is survived by: her children, Pamela, Gordon, Cheree (Sean) and Curtis (April); her grandchildren, Lyndsey (David), Ashley (Ben), Alyssa (Josh), Jordyn Piper, Kensley, Devin, Garrett and Kalynn; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Weston, Faith, Sophia, Harper, Sawyor, Harlan, Lincoln and Theo; and her husband Curt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a foundation Vernie and her husband donated to monthly.
