She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Balsley and Patricia Balsley; her aunt Myrtle Oliver; her uncle Billy Simpson; her siblings, Robert W. Balsley and Rhonda Kay Finchum; her former husband Steven Garwood; and her pet Dixie.
She is survived by: her daughter Katelyn Cox (Bryan); her grandchildren, Hailey, Rush, Dalton Cox and Robert Truesdale (Bobby); her stepdaughter Shelbie Tilton (Jeff); her sisters, Kathy Balsley (Debbie), Sherron Prillaman (Sid) and Lenora Mullelly; her aunts, Mariaelena Craig and Lee Stinson; and her nieces and nephews, Samantha Balsley, Casey Finchum, Shane Finchum (Adrianna) and Cody Finchum.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Affinity Funeral Service (2720 Enterprise Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23294).
