She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Alfred M. Mason, Sr.; and her brother Benjamin F. Johnson, Sr.. She is survived by: her friend Sandra J. Mason; her children, Marilyn Ibin West of Petersburg, Alfred M. Mason, Jr. (Kim) of Lawrenceville, Garrett A. Mason (Vanessa) of South Chesterfield, Sonya F. H. Mason of South Chesterfield, Jeffrey K. Mason of South Chesterfield, C. Eric Mason of Petersburg and Serena Mason of South Chesterfield, Virginia; her grandchildren, Tere George, Aja George, Alfred M. Mason III, Raven Maxwell (D'Vaughn), Germaine Mason, Jamoni Mason, Jamar Mason, Devainte Green, Kara Green, Kiara Green, Javonte Green and A'Shauntaa Crittendon; her sister-in-law E. Arlene Moore; her nieces, Cynthia Byrd and Charmin Davis; her nephew D. Carlos Johnson; her cousin Louie Wilson; and her friends, Helen Taylor and Charles Green. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
