He was predeceased by: his father Bryant Bowman; and his brother Robert Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Bowman; his sons, Adam Bowman, Jesse Bowman and Nicholas Bowman (Kate); his granddaughter Emilia Bowman; his daughter Chelsea Fannin (Ivan); and his mother Bessie Bowman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or a charity of your choice.
