He is survived by: his wife Sonia Garay; his children, Zulma Simmons, Norma Garay, Roberto Garay, Jr. (Ivette) and Andres Garay; his grandchildren, Izaias Simmons, Siyani Simmons and Lorena Garay; and his sisters, Julia, Gloria, Ana and Ines.
