He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Ed" Overby and Dorothy "Dot" Royster Overby of Chesterfield. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginger" Cavenaugh Overby; his children, Richard "Rick" Overby and Gina Orgon (Edward); his grandson Richard "Hunter" Overby Cassidy; and his brother Charles "Chuck" Overby.
