She was predeceased by: her sons, Edward Kirkman Johnston, Jr. and Michael Keel Johnston; her parents, Roy Elliott Lindsay and Wavie Howard Lindsay; and her grandson Michael Allen Kerns.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Kerns (Jimmy) and Mark Johnston; and her siblings, Roy Lindsay, Jr. (Nancy), Marty Lindsay (Denise) and Robin Jarrell (Ernie). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
