She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Collins and Major Collins; her husband James Edward Mayton; her daughter Linda Ann Mayton; her brother Sterling Lynn Collins; and her nephew William Lynn Collins.

She is survived by: her brother Major A. Collins; her sisters-in-law, Alice Collins and Edna Mae Barton (John); her nephew Ray Collins; and her brother-in-law Bill Mayton (Rosa Lee). She is also survived by several loving relatives and friends.
