She was predeceased by: her husband Jasper Jefferson, Sr.; her sisters, Katie Ann Studevant, Evelyn Haskins, Genevieve Harris, Martha Brown, Bernice Emmanuel and Inez Studevant; and her parents, James Studevant and Dora Studevant.
She is survived by: her children, Mary, Shirley Giles, Marthine Jefferson, Jasper Jefferson Jr., Michael Jefferson (Suzanne), Thomas Jefferson, George Jefferson, Alvin Jefferson, Diane Jefferson and James Jefferson; and her sisters, Bessie Ann Hopkins, Sarah Vaughn and Catherine Studevant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
