With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucinda Lucy Jones of Chesterfield, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Percival and Lois Hilton Lucy; and her siblings, William Lucy, James Lucy, Philip Lucy and Ann Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Wiley S. Jones, Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer J. Elliott (John) of Winchester and Rebecca A. Jones of Chesterfield; her grandchildren, Madison E. Potter (Ryan) of Fairfax and Matthew T. Elliott of Leesburg; and her brothers, Melvin Lucy of Chesapeake and Robert Lucy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the Massey Cancer Center at VCU, the American Literacy Society, or the charity of your choice.
