He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his parents, Johnnie Sr. Lewis and Maude Lewis; and his siblings, Marshall Lewis (Virgie), Hellen Penkalski (Benny) and Charles Lewis (Susan).
He is survived by: his daughters, Dale Sorrell (Jim), Sharon Pauls (Johnny) and Peggy Blankenship (Bob); and his sister Jean Whittaker (A. D.). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bliley's Funeral Home - Chippenham (6900 Hull Street Rd N, Richmond, VA 23224). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bliley's Chippenham Chapel (6900 Hull Street Rd N, Richmond, VA 23224).
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Virginia Veterans Services Foundation.
