He is survived by: his wife Betty Estes Ballard; his children, Amanda Ballard Ray (Mark) and K. Brent Ballard (Mallory); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ballard Ray, McKenna Faye Ballard and Lucy Hansen Ballard; his sister Janice Ballard Cutler (Rick); and his pet Daisy.
