He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lee and Annie Louise Bernard; his brother Micheal Bernard; and his granddaughter Kara Ann Bass. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughters, Paula Kennedy (Wayne), Julie Bass (Scott) and Christie Arrington (Gregg); and his siblings, Buddy Bernard (Audrey), David Bernard (Susan) and Joann Chattin (Dan). He is also survived by daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
