He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Edward Elko Sr. and Alma Mae Jarratt Elko; his spouse Silva Barkley Elko; his daughters, Heather Elko Courtright of Virginia Beach, VA and Amanda Elko of Ocean View, VA; his granddaughter Jenna Madison Courtright; his siblings, David Elko (Lisa) of Chesterfield and Mary Elko Miller of Harrisonburg; and his brother-in-law Clifton Barkley of Emerald Isle, NC.. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
