It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Allen Murray Jr. (Chesterfield, Virginia), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Edward Allen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Edward Allen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Murray Sr. and Viola Durrett Murray. He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Murray; his son Edward A. Murray III (Tanua); his sister Elaine M. Sebra (Thomas); his nephews, Todd Sebra and Troy Sebra; and his niece Teresa S. Rock.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home (14301 Ashbrook Pkwy, Chesterfield, VA 23832). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Tunnel to Towers or American Liver Foundation in Allen's memory.
