She is survived by: her husband Edward Norwood Newbill; her children, Linda Starling (Richard), Lana Simmons, Theresa Carter (Roy) and Jeffrey Thomas III; and her grandchildren, Holly Texter, William Scott Starling, Jason Starling, Michael Simmons, Roger Simmons Jr., Wendy Davis, Stacey Overton, Roy Carter Jr., Lorrie Colbert and Nikki Williams. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
