He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Meadows and Juanita Meadows; and his sister Susan Pahl. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Nicholas, Teresa Marshall (Jerry) and Juanita Viens; his grandsons, Kevin Lee (Caitlin) and Brian Lee (Jennie); and his brother-in-law David Pahl.

Memorial donations can be made in David's name to Wounded Warrior Project.
