He was predeceased by: his parents, David Manley Capps and Marion Miles Cashion; and his stepfather Joseph Page Cashion. He is survived by: his spouse Georgie Adkins Capps; his sons, David (Colleen) and Joey (Tammy); his grandchildren, Nathan (Amber), Amy, Calli (Kit) and Jodi (Richie); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Wyatt, Madison, Wayde and Lakynn; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Wilkinson and Pat Timms (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (14301 Ashbrook Pkwy, Chesterfield, VA 23832). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hermon Baptist Church (18100 Genito Rd, Moseley, VA 23120).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Memorial Association.
