It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles William Lester of Chesterfield, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Lester, Sr. and Mattie E. Lester; and his siblings, Harold D. Lester and Lelia K. Shelnutt. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Moore Lester; his daughters, Patricia L. Lee of Chesterfield and Linda D. Lester of Chesterfield; and his siblings, Ray M. Lester, Sr. of Richmond, Marie I. Diaz of Henrico and Joyce L. Perrin of Spotsylvania. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 Great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
