With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Lee Whitaker of Chesterfield, Virginia, born in Monterey, California, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion H. Whitaker and Thelma O. Whitaker of Richmond Virginia; and his son Brian V. Whitaker of Cape Coral, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara E. Whitaker; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Sean Poindexter; his granddaughters, Bridget and Anna; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Brian Dean; his grandchildren, Madison, Caleb and Jakob; his daughter-in-law Tammy Whitaker; his grandchildren-in-law, Amber, Jessica and Ashleigh (Logan Fisher); and his brother Marion H. Whitaker, Jr. (Rose Marie). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and friends.
