She was predeceased by: her father L. C. Morris; her daughter Annie Mercer; her brother Clarence Morris; and her sister-in-law Nancy Morris. She is survived by: her mother Annie Mae Morris; her husband Michael J. Bradshaw; her pet Max; her daughters, Nishana Keri and Tyuana Richelle Mercer; her grandchildren, Kevin Anthony Ward Mercer, Stanley Everette Brown, III and Nova Ayana Tené Taylor; her stepchildren, Tyrone Casper, Jeffery Bradshaw, Sr. (Mary), Angel Bradshaw, Sharonda Eppes, Crystal (Pierre) of Washington, Carlisa Eppes and Carlos Eppes; her siblings, Lenzy Morris, Laverne Owens (Robert, Sr.) and Dawn Ortiz (Sebastian); and her friends, Loretta Ross (Tony), Penny Logan, Lonette Marsh and Monique Robinson. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
