She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Williams and Claiborne Williams; and her brother David Williams. She is survived by: her husband James Shumate, Sr.; her children, James Shumate, Jr. and Deborah Baker; her grandchildren, Caleb, Alex and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Whitley, Greyson, Ali, Dahlia and Noah. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
