He is survived by: his sons, Alvin Morris Shelton, III (Nancy) and Jeffrey Everett Shelton, Sr. (Becky); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Shelton, Jr. (Amanda), Jordan Shelton (Diane), Victoria Smith (Kevin) and Lauren Shelton; his great grandchildren, Carter Shelton, Cole Shelton, Grant Shelton, Jeffrey Shelton, III and Michael Shelton; and his siblings, Margaret Krause, Herbert Shelton and John Shelton, Sr..
The family will receive friends Monday, December 26, 2022, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 P.M. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. lieu of flowers, contributions may be donated to Wood's United Methodist Church.
