He is survived by: his wife Gloria Brown Phillips; his children, Michael Phillips (Tammy) of Newark, DE, Eric Phillips of Waldorf, MD and Tracey Phillips of Moseley, VA; his grandchildren, La'Bryant Phillips, Tivon Woolford, Londyn Phillips, David Phillips and Ashley Tuggle; his great grandchild Knoelle Plowden; his brothers, Orlando Phillips (Mary) of Far Rockaway, NY and John Phillips, Sr. (Nancy) of Clinton, MD; his sisters-in-law, Jean Gee of Chesterfield, VA, Delores Render of Petersburg, VA and Caroline Brown; his niece Pamela Gee Smith; his brother James "Pee Wee" Roberts of New York City; and his close friends, Edward Goode Jr., Melton Cutler and William Moore, Jr.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
