We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Susan Grier Smith Carr of Chester, Virginia, born in Elkin, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randall Lee and Geraldine Smith; and her brother Randall Steve Smith. She is survived by: her husband Chester Glenn Carr; her children, Randall Scott Carr (Heather), Kelly Grier Carr Twiddy (Ross) and Sarah Glenn Carr; her grandchildren, Hope, Miller, Hattie Belle, Waylyn, Julep and Steele; and her sister Margaret Walters.
Due to COVID, a private service will be held at the family mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Susan's name to JDRF (Hampton Roads Chapter), 291 Independence Blvd. Suite 517 Virginia Beach, VA 23462 or any other charity benefitting children.
