We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, Shirley Arlene Ingraham of Chester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Ingraham and Dorine Ingraham; her former husband James Potter, Sr.; her son Jamie Potter; her grandchildren, Kiameshia and Naeemah; her great grandchild Tiye; and her brother Wayne Ingraham.
She is survived by: her children, Gayl Tyler (Nick), Lynn Lawrence (Bill) and D. J. Potter; her grandchildren, Jamal, Adam, Malikah, Jack, Sadie, Leanna, Rebeka (Steve), Adelle (Jeremy), Jeremy, Elijah, Alisha, Brandon, Luke, Seth and Jordan; and her sister Sylvia Sherwood (Cy). She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to local hospice organizations or Furbish on Forest Hill Avenue.
