He was predeceased by: his father Dan Barfield; and his sister Deborah. He is survived by: his mother Dona P. Thompson of Chester; his stepfather Skip Thompson; and his brothers, Danny, Robert (Cindy) and Douglas. He is also survived by three step-brothers; two nieces and one nephew, as well as great nieces and nephews.
