She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kelley and Minnie Jane McCoy; and her siblings, John, Lillian Taylor, Linda McCoy and Vesta McCoy.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Thacker; her daughter Beverly Valerio (Vince); her grandson Connor Valerio of Chesterfield; and her siblings, Mary Worley, Andrew McCoy of Bristol, VA and Benny McCoy of Bristol, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice in her name.
