We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2022, at the age of 78, Norma Deane Mincey Franklin of Chester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edgar Mincey and Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ganis Mincey; her husband William Eugene "Bill" Franklin; and her siblings, William Henry Mincey, Harold Delano Mincey, Richard Eugene Mincey, Nell Vena Mincey Long, Glenda Cornelia Mincey Strickland and Felicia Sue Dustin.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Franklin Bowman; her son-in-law James Bowman; her granddaughter Emily Bowman; her sisters, Myrtle Jordan and Dorothy Heffer (Malcolm); and her siblings-in-law, Rosario Mincey, Peggy Franklin, Claudia Autry (Kenneth) and William Strickland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
