With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Harding Locklear of Chester, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 66. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Harding Locklear to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Harding and Eva Chavis Harding; her sisters, Dorothy Harding, Kathleen H. Dallas and Peggy H. Forbis; and her close friend Mike Morales.

She is survived by: her children, Chasity Sessoms Bowen of Laurinburg, Buffy Tompkins and Darren Locklear; her siblings, Thomas Harding, Jr. of Laurinburg, Howard Harding of Laurinburg, Pete Harding (Beatrice) of Laurinburg and Shirley H. Heverley of Washington, NC; her grandchildren, Breanne Bowen, Keegan Sessoms, Taylor Locklear, Micah Stanton, Alexis Tompkins, Ethan Locklear and Lauren Tompkins; and her great grandchild Jonah Belcher.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Laurinburg Baptist Church (517 Lee's Mill Rd, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stewartsville Cemetery. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the same location.
