She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmajean Boyd and Ted Lowe Boyd; her son Joseph P. Dorton; and her siblings, Glen Boyd, Ted Boyd Jr. and Tammy Boyd.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Dorton Jr. (Joe); her daughter Brandi Baker (Brian Baker); her daughter-in-law Kieu Nguyen (Kathy); her granddaughters, Olivia Baker, Isabella Dorton and Lily Dorton; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Boyd and RuthAnn Boyd. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and cousins.
