He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Wade Sr. and Louise Phillips Wade of Afton; and his sister Calista Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Joan Alderson Wade; his sister Linda Wade D'Ambola (Phil); his stepdaughter Jennifer Williams; his grandchildren, Nate and Caroline Williams; his nephews, Justin D'Ambola, Dean Duncan (Nina) and William Duncan (Sandy); and his niece Cheryl Brummell (Dave).
