Ray of Chester, Virginia, born in Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Ray and Gertie Mae Wilson Ray; his former wife Mary Ray; his son Owen; his siblings, Margaret McLean, Clara Belle Ray, Alice Marie Johnson, Lynn Ray, Jaylee Ray, Cleveland Ray and Earnest Ray; and his stepbrother Willie Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Cora Ray of St. Albans, NY; his children, Kevin of Saint Cloud, FL, Nathanyel of Canton, GA, Stephanie of Bronx, NY, Sandra of Bronx, NY, Deborah (Andre) of Chester, VA, Timothy (Brenda) and Jarvis (Taneka) of Middletown, NY; and his brother Jessie Ray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
