He is survived by: his wife Priscilla "Irene" Collins; his children, Patti Sumner of Baltimore and George Lewis Sumner, Jr. (Karen) of Chester; his granddaughters, Madison and Hannah Sumner of Nashville, Tennessee; his son Michael Jameson Sumner (Andrea) of Dublin, Ohio; his sisters, Laura Miller and Joann Smith of West Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Layne and Peggy Hamilton of Hopewell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
