He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Dutrow; and his sister Sharon Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Carole Wicker Everts; his daughter Alisa Everts Porter (Gary Porter) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Jude Porter, Nathaniel Porter and Sam; his wife Sandi Clark; his niece Stephanie Dodson; his nephew Rob Dodson; and his brothers, Robert Dutrow and Jacob Dutrow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 502 W. Broadway Hopewell, VA 23860.
