With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Everette L. Goodwyn of Chester, Virginia, born in Prince George, Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Goodwyn; his daughters, Shannon Goodwyn of Philadelphia, PA and Brittany Goodwyn Adugu (Edem) of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Cia Sejour, Phoenix Westbrook and Star Adugu of New York, NY; his aunt Nannie Atkins of Disputanta, VA; and his sisters, Mildred Dennis of Disputanta, VA and Eva Igbodo (Alfred) of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 South Crater Road, Petersburg, VA 23805.
