She was predeceased by: her daughter Patricia Hopkins. She is survived by: her husband William Murphy; her children, Peggy Peyton (Melvin Jr.), Angela Murphy, William T. Hopkins, Tyrone Hopkins and Larry Murphy (Melissa); her aunt Ora Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Girdell Turner and Dorothy Chandler. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; a host great grandchildren.
