With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Gayle Hatcher Rhoads of Chester, Virginia, who passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Billy Preston and Phyllis Gayle Hatcher; her husband John Paul Rhoads, Sr.; her children, Sarah Elizabeth Nelson, Jacob Wayne Rhoads and John Paul Rhoads, Jr.; her grandchildren, Lee Nelson, Sophia Rhoads, Zacariah Rhoads, Makayla Rhoads, Aireana Rhoads and Yuna Rhoads; and her siblings, Mark Hatcher (Betsy) and Shawn Hatcher (Karen). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
