She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford West and Charlotte West; her sister Charlotte Addie West Melton; and her brother-in-law James Melton, Sr.. She is survived by: her niece Linda R. Melton (William); her nephew James R. Melton, Jr. (Lisa); her great-nephew James R. Melton III; her great-niece Brittany D. Melton; her goddaughter Tanesha Allen; her cousins, Sherman Hurrye, Ruffin Gregory, Phyllis Hill (Elvin Jackson), Barbara S. Soso of Lompoc, CA, Paul Callahan, Lula Jackson (Leon Wells) and Geraldine Harris; and also James R. Melton IV (Pettie Jay).
