He was predeceased by: his wife Monica M. Heretick. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley L. Heretick and Sarah L. Heretick; his stepdaughter Stacy Marks; his grandchildren, Weston McComber and Jah Marks; and his siblings, Deborah H. Smollich (Hansel), Donna H. Lynch (Michael) and David Heretick (Rachel).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Knights of Columbus, 112 15 th Ave, Hopewell, VA 23860.
